Something Strange in Kansas City

Blogged From at 04. Apr 2007 05:53 under Object, Object, Object, Object

There is something odd about mayor elect Mark Funkhouser. Oh yeah like that's a real name. Anyway Eddie Butler has photographic evidence and asks the hard questions. Questions involving city politics, Sith lords and wizards.

Bankrupt

Blogged From Cory Aldrich at 04. Apr 2007 03:55 under Cory, Children, Humor

I liquidated my investments long ago. The real estate holdings went not long afterwards. Now I slowly placed the last of my cash, one bill at a time, into the gleeful hands of the man sitting across the table from me. I was finished… washed up… not a penny left to my name. Freakin’ Monopoly!

The Ick Factor

Blogged From at 04. Apr 2007 02:52 under Object, Object

LONDON (Reuters) - Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards said in an interview published on Tuesday that he once snorted his father's ashes mixed with cocaine.Richards, 63, whose fondness for drugs has been openly acknowledged for decades, was quoted by British music magazine NME as saying his unusual experiment with paternally enhanced cocaine came after his father's death five years ago."The strangest thing I've tried to snort? My father. I snorted my father. He was cremated, and I couldn't resist grinding him up with a little bit of blow," Richards said in the interview, which was posted on NME's Web site."My dad wouldn't have cared," Richards said, adding, "It went down pretty well, and I'm still alive."And so now we know why he'll survive the nuclear h[...]

Comment on New Hampshire’s Principal Scrooge by Bryan Lafond

Blogged From at 04. Apr 2007 01:53

That was me 3 years ago. My high school was learning about my freedoms when this was current. I was on so many newspapers, and on a few Radio shows. It was getting out of hand. This year I found out that in one of my classes we had to learn about freedoms. And of course I came up. It was really dumb. I tried to lay low for a long time, and it was working until this year. I really disliked my principal alot. He made up so many excuses of why I wasnt aloud in. One was that it was a "Holiday" dance (when on the anouncements it said have a merry christmas). Another was that he could not see my face (you had to bring in a picture I.D. and signed up). Last was that I was not dressed in approate cloths for the dance (I came back in flip flops gym shorts and a T-sh[...]

Hey Wes, Remember This One?

Blogged From at 04. Apr 2007 00:52

The new Carnival of Education is up; click HERE and go check it out.In a couple of weeks, I will have been blogging for three years, and something is happening: When I remember something from the past that might be bloggable, I have to stop and think whether or not I might have already blogged it. Since I post almost daily, it's getting harder and harder to search my archives to find out.Oh, I know, there's that 'search' thing at the top of all blogger blogs, but it never works for me.Therefore, if you've heard this one before, just bear with me. I'm an old lady and we have memory lapses.I think. I really don't remember.Over on BlogHer they're saying that the Equal Rights Amendment is in the news again. Shades of the past!!!!!I should have saved all my [...]

Admit it - you wear Granny panties. They are large, roomy, and comfortable. Seriously, when is the last time you wore a thong or little bitty bikini panties? I only wear a thong when I am dressing up and need to hide the panty lines. Besides then, it is all about comfort for me. Seriously, I [...]

Couch casting again. We recorded this podcast last Friday, but because of my major meltdown during the podcast where I threw my 11 year old out of the studio (couch) I felt like I needed to edit some parts out of the podcast. Procrastination set in and I finally sat down to edit the podcast today. After listening to the whole thing I decided to present this podcast unedited in it's entirety. Call this the director's cut, unrated version of The Passionate America Show podcast. Make sure you don't miss the very end there is a special appearance from Emperor Misha.

A Bookstore Tale...

Blogged From at 03. Apr 2007 18:11 under Humor

A newlywed couple is on their honeymoon. They've spent the first couple of days in the hotel room, so they decide to go outside and play a game of golf for the first time in their lives. On the first tee the husband slices the ball so hard to the right that it goes crashing through the plate glass window of an antiques/bookstore across the street from the golf course. The couple immediately run over to the shop to apologize, but when they get there they don't see anyone... just broken glass everywhere. Then the young wife screams when she notices a man with a goatee laying on the floor. The man is in a daze. The couple drop to their knees and begin apologizing. The goateed man raises a finger to his lips and tells the couple that they have done him a great fav[...]
