Couch casting again. We recorded this podcast last Friday, but because of my major meltdown during the podcast where I threw my 11 year old out of the studio (couch) I felt like I needed to edit some parts out of the podcast. Procrastination set in and I finally sat down to edit the podcast today. After listening to the whole thing I decided to present this podcast unedited in it's entirety. Call this the director's cut, unrated version of The Passionate America Show podcast. Make sure you don't miss the very end there is a special appearance from Emperor Misha.

Podcasting is still a pretty immature trend compared to other forms of social media though some recent research shows awareness and knowledge slowly growing. Since the space is changing so fast, I was lucky enough to chat with Leesa Barnes, a podcaster, author, speaker and consultant who is “in the trenches” on a daily basis. She [...]

PERINO: One announcement, and then we'll go to questions. It's been 56 days since the President sent up his request for more money for the troops, and Democrats in Congress left town last week without finishing their work. It appears they're still content to work on a bill that does not have serious plans to fund troops or make Iraq, America and the world more secure, but, rather, attempt at forcing us into giving up on Iraq without regard to the consequences of failure. The authors of these bills clearly do not understand what it means to mandate and legislate a withdrawal from Iraq. Just yesterday,[...]
