For those of us who saw the story in Texas Monthly a few months ago about lobbyist Chuck Bailey's incredible collection of campaign memorabilia, now there's a book we can buy with even more photos of these vintage (and recent) pieces of political propaganda (and I mean that in a good way).The book, called "Texas Political Memorabilia - Button, Bumperstickers, and Broadsides," was published by UT Press in February.The photos (here's a sampling) were taken by Barbara Schlief, a former Senate Media photographer who's now a freelancer (and maybe still working for Comptroller Susan Combs?)Here's how UT Press describes the book:"Drawn from the vast personal collection of Chuck Bailey and augmented with items from other private and public collections, this book pre[...]
