Reposted from here, because someone still needs to read it. I had a bad childhood. It was the childhood nightmares are made of. I spent the younger years of my adulthood in the late 80’s early 90’s blaming everyone else for the problems in my life. At the first sign things weren’t going right, it wasn’t [...]

Going back to work right after the Holy Week, I’d be insanely unhappy if I hadn’t been counting down to my final day at work which will be on Friday the 13th! So a friend asks me, does this mean its bad luck for me or for the company? I said that I’ve been lucky all my life (it’s the reason I’m alive!) and since I’m having my send-off at the same time as this degenerate of an officemate, I thought that the bad luck of Friday the 13th will hopefully transfer with the fugly officemate and strip the office, and me, of any residual bad juju. But then again I don’t buy into things like that. Sure, I’d follow fung shui rules simply because a lot of them make sense, and yes, I would go through actual church ceremonies to appease the [...]

Mornin’! I trust y’all had fair enough Easter weekends? Ours was fair. Cold and such but otherwise ok. I am trying very hard NOT to complain about how ungodly cold it is and how bad it makes me hurt. I really am. I keep telling myself that when it’s been in the upper 90’s for ten straight [...]

All interesting stories, at least on my campus, start out “So I was Googling myself..”, and this news snippet is no exception. So I was Googling myself today and noticed that I am now the second result (at least in the US) for a “paul” search on Google.com, passing up Paul McCartney. I think that’s [...]

Flickr sourceStratten was laying face down on the end of Snider's waterbed, the side of her face and one of her fingers blown off by a 12 gauge shotgun blast. Nearby was Snider, lying on top of the Mossberg shotgun he had used to kill Stratten before turning it on himself; his face between his eyes was gone and his left eyeball was dangling out of its socket. Both of them were nude and covered in ants; Stratten's body was determined to have been moved post-mortem, and further examination of the body turned up several bloody fingerprints, determined to be Snider's. On her posterior were two perfectly formed bloody handprints, also determined to be Snider's. Next to Stratten's corpse was a home-made sex apparatus that Snider had designed to support a woman in[...]

so I got a parking ticket yesterday - the tree completely obstructs the sign. I am thinking I have some grounds to fight the ticket since you cannot actually SEE the sign. No Tags
